Your First Appointment With Orthodontist, Dr. Petrover:
When you enter our orthodontic office in either Wellington or Boynton Beach, you’ll get the red-carpet treatment (minus the paparazzi). You’ll be invited to the reception room to relax with Wi-Fi and watch TV, while your parents take care of the paperwork.
Then, you’ll go back to take some X-rays and pictures of your teeth. It’s easy – all you have to do is smile.
Orthodontist, Dr. Petrover and the treatment coordinator will meet with you to ask a few questions. Dr. Petrover reviews the X-rays and the pictures and takes a brief look inside your mouth. It doesn’t hurt at all.
Dr. Petrover will talk to you and your parents about what’s going on with your teeth. You’ll find out what kind of braces or orthodontic treatment you’ll need (if any), whether you should get Invisalign Teen® or braces, the best time to start, and how long treatment will last. He is really good at explaining things, but you’ll have plenty of time to ask him any questions.
Then the treatment coordinator will explain financial options to your parents and help them work out an affordable payment plan for your braces.
If orthodontist, Dr. Petrover recommends starting orthodontic treatment and braces, we can begin right away. If he recommends waiting for braces to begin, we’ll send you a reminder as the time approaches.
The whole consultation process is designed to be as comfortable and as easy as possible. It’s a chance for you to get to know us, and for us to get to know you and welcome you to our orthodontic office, where we hope you and your family will become a part of our family, too.
