We take digital impressions with an iTero scanner. There’s no putty and no gagging, and your teeth show up in 3D in a few minutes, so you can see what Dr. Petrover wants to move.
If a bracket breaks or a wire pokes
If there’s facial trauma, swelling, uncontrolled bleeding or severe pain, go to the nearest emergency room or urgent care first. Otherwise, cover a sharp wire with orthodontic wax. If a loose bracket is still on the wire, leave it and wax it; if it’s come off, save it and bring it in. Then call us, even if you already have an appointment. The Types of Braces We Fit, and How Treatment Works
Metal, ceramic and In-Ovation braces
Brackets are bonded to your teeth and a wire threads through them. The American Association of Orthodontists describes how braces work as brackets and wires that put pressure on the teeth to move them gradually into better positions. Clear braces in Boynton Beach: ceramic brackets, not clear aligners
“Clear braces” gets used for different things, and they aren’t the same treatment. Clear ceramic braces are tooth-colored brackets bonded to your teeth, and they stay on until treatment finishes. Insurance, financing and what your benefit changes
If your plan includes orthodontic coverage, it can lower your fee, so we check your orthodontic benefit before you begin and file the claims for you. We work with most PPO plans, including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Assurant, Guardian, MetLife, Humana, Delta Dental and Solstice.
